Manusher Golpo
graphic narrative
3 pages | Sequential Art
Manusher Golpo is inspired from the local ghost stories that we hear during bedtime from our parents.

Synopsis:
A Shakchunni tells her child a story of a young girl with dark skin, married to a cruel woodcutter. After he destroys her solace, the chatim tree, the girl kills him in a fit of rage, only to feel the burden of guilt. In the dream world, the Shakchunni reveals she was the girl in her past life and now protects the forest as a demon, alongside others who denied nature from humans
Theme:
The concept is inspired from Bengali Folktales and a webcomic Ghost Teller by QTT.
I found on showcasing Evils of the Society, Feminism and Environmental Issues through a visual narrative.
